CFPA Background

CFPA  - forest industry and analysisCambridge Forest Products Associates (CFPA) was established by Bernard Fuller in 2007. This followed on his retirement from RISI, the global leader in forest industry information and analysis, which he had co-founded in 1985.

Bernard was born in London, England and now lives in Massachusetts. 

He was educated at the University of Nottingham, England (BA); University of Wisconsin (MA) and completed all the requirements except dissertation for a Ph.D. at the State University of New York. 

He entered the forest products industry in 1976 with Champion International, Inc., before first moving to the FORSIM (Wood Products) Service of Data Resources, Inc. (DRI) in 1978, and then co-founding RISI in 1985. 

RISI was acquired by Paperloop Inc. in December 2000. Bernard retired from RISI at the end of May, 2007 to establish Cambridge Forest Products Associates and to continue his work in the area of international wood products markets.
